In the Limousin heartland local custom and tradition go hand in hand with an innovative approach ! Mr Jacques LAPEYRIE, a goose and duck breeder since 1975, created the "Conserves Jacques Lapeyrie" company in 1988. Our production uses traditional methods and we breed our geese and ducks in a traditional way. The constant quality of ur product range comes from the old Perigourdine recipes it is based on. Since 1995, the company satisfies European standards and functions according to the HACCP method. The company's size gives it considerable flexibility : we can rapidly adapt ourselves to our different customers (Hospitals, Government Services, Local Community Organizations, Specialiszed shops, Works councils, etc. we are also service providers). Our products (various cuts of Duck and Goose, Foie gras, Pâtés, Terrines, Goose/duck conserves, Cou farci (Stuffed Neck), Cooked dishes,etc.) come in the form of preserves and partly-preserved products or are vacuum packed as fresh produce. We regularly add new spécialities to broaden our gourmet range, i.e. Duck and Apples stewed in cider in 2002. This cooked dish was presendted at the International Food Salon (2002) and was named one of the best new products and tendencies in the Terroir & Tradition category.
