Since 1830 the Afchain confectionery factory has continued the tradition of making the famous Bêtise de Cambrai (humbug).
It has gone out of its way to retain the traditional character of the humbug and to preserve its brand image, quality and packaging (sachets, and cardboard and metal gift boxes).
The humbugs are sold through traditional outlets (bakers, sweet shops etc) and also through the mass distribution sector ( Cora, Leclerc, Auchan, Monoprix, Carrefour etc). They are exported the world over.
