The first filled sweet was invented by Victor PITAU, a confectionery maker in Douai one day in 1887. Bite into this speciality and discover the creaminess of craftsmen made toffee inside its coffee flavoured shell.
The "Chuques du Nord" wrapped in red sweet papers with white stripes, are offered in the cardboard carton traditional to the family, in the "Centenary" coffee tin made from metal, or in a padded bag.
This authentic speciality, ideal to give as a present or to be enjoyed directly, is a typical gift symbolising the Nord - Pas-de-Calais region. A fine taste of France!
