Laïta is a subsidiary of the three largest co-operatives in Western France: Terrena, Coopagri Bretagne and Even.

Located in Brittany, one of Europe's most important dairy regions, Laïta sells 73,000 tonnes of dairy products in more than 70 countries with a total turnover of 299 million Euros.
Butter, Brie, Camembert, Coulommiers, Emmental, speciality spreadable cheeses and a wide range of other products are produced on a regular basis in the group's cheese and butter plants.
