Assistants process the products by strongly limiting the use of non-agricultural ingredients (additives, technological auxiliaries...) A processed organic product must contain, at least 95% organic ingredients stemming from an agricultural origin.
The producer must declare his organic agriculture activity to the state and he must be controlled by an independant organization approved by the State and accredited by COFRAC.

|
A policy with indeniable economic power.
In addition to the companies' brand labels, France developed 5 quality and origin labels which allow the identification of products that have a real quality or specificity.
These labels are an asset for producers and professionals who belong to the rural world. By linking quality, specificity and soil, they protect the traditional production areas and enhance human kow-how.
