1956 :
The agricultural industry creates the first Regional Promotion Committee.
Our goal :
to enhance the endorsement of the agricultural production.
Today :
There are 23 Regional Promotion Committees that are a service of Regional Chambers of Agriculture or of inter-consular associations that meet the terms of the 1901 Act.
We work on a regular basis with about 5 000 French agro-food companies, industries, small and medium-size companies and artisans.

| OUR MISSION |
1. To create better awareness of agricultural and agro-food regional products.
2. To set-up collective actions in order to help farmers and agro-food companies gain market shares, in France and abroad. |
| OUR MAIN ACTIVITIES |
|
For members of the industry :
- Offer technical support to companies who wish to export.
- Assist companies in participating in exhibitions, in France and abroad within the regional pavilions (i.e : about 6 000m2 at SIAL ; ANUGA ; IFE...)
- Participate in the development of quality standard policies for the the products of their region.
- Organize promotions with the distribution chains.
- Organize information events.
- Organize communication and press events : companies, products and gastronomy.
- Define and create promotional material (P.O.P.).
For the general public :
- Participation at the " Salon International de l'Agriculture " (SIA) (representing the French regions : about 12 000 m2).
- Set-up and organize live presentations for the restaurant network : " Tables des Régions de France " (Regional Tables of France) and organize events in partnership with the participating restaurants.
- Promotional activities enhancing the regions' image, their products, their gastronomy and their tourism.

The Regional Promotion Committes have a privileged relationship with their Regional Counsels and close contacts with agricultural channels, interprofessional organizations and the major agro-food and export organizations such as SOPEXA, the CFCE (French Trade Office), the DREE offices...

The National Federation for the Regional Promotion Committees federates the 23 Regional Promotion Committees for agricultural and agro-food products.
The N.F.R.P.C. (FNCRA) is :
- A state-approved agricultural service within the Permanent Assembly of Chambers of Agriculture (A.P.C.A.).
- A support structure for the Regional Promotion Committees when collective activities regroup several regions such as the " SIA ", the " Regional Tables of France's " restaurant network, press and communication events...
- A think-tank, information and consulting office.
